Yesterday I was on my way to teach a couple of yoga classes back-to-back at a yoga studio across the street from Car-X. As I was driving there, I realized that I had a very flat tire. PI-1. 😱As I was driving 20mph try not to shred the tire, I saw Car X across the street. I had never been there before, and the guy behind the front desk took my information quickly and said he would try to get a new tire on while I was teaching.I called to check on the progress between classes and it turns out there was a huge screw in the tire and it had been shredded.Bobby was able to get a new tire from across town and had it installed on my vehicle by the time I finished teaching both classes. I had just enough time to walk back over there and pick up my car before they closed. Bobby and his colleague saved the day for me and the 40 yoga students. Thank you, Babby! 🙏🏼🧘🏼🧘♀️🧘♂️🙏🏼
While changing license plates, one screw came out with a broken jacket, so the plate hung to one side. Brought it to Car X and Lucas had it fixed in 10 minutes! Their oil changes are a fair price for all that you get. I'll always bring my car to Car X if I need anything.
On a long road-trip (packed car, kids, etc.), we ran into some tire woes. We were so luck that this particular Car-X was our closest and first stop. Bobby and his technicians at Car-X were amazing and kept us on schedule to reach our final destination. Bobby was clear and honest with us, and had quality tires in stock. Car-X worked with us to make sure we had new tires before closing for the night. Bobby and his technicians were wonderful to work with and they really saved us. Highly recommend!
Kudos to the manager on duty Thursday, January 25,2024 at 5 PM at S. Neil st (Hwy 45).I stopped in for directions back to I57 South; having missed my intersection from I 74 to I57 south. I was totally lost and stressed; and he very calmly explained the most direct way, easiest!!! I really appreciated him!

-This happened at the Bradley Ave location- I was in months ago, but I was just thinking about how helpful the staff here was and it brought me to leave a review. My car's battery was dying after work one day and I stepped in to get it replaced. My vehicle was put in immediately despite the fact that the shop closed soon. The wonderful manager woman was so helpful to me and the other customer who was there at the time. I wish I remembered her name, Christina maybe? I was shown and educated about the issue with my vehicle and even though they didn't have a compatible battery is house they called auto zone and had one delivered for me within an hour. The tech could have easily tried to get me to agree to work on my alternator but never mentioned it. I witnessed the other woman customer who was there with me get very upset about the cost of her tires, as she was a single mother who didn't quite have the money. The manager woman consoled her and personally helped her sign up for a payment plan on her phone. The tech even came outside to play and laugh with her children. Great experience overall. The employees here feel like real people.
Been having trouble with a vehicle I just recently bought. Had an inspection done with here and the guys I spoke with were super helpful. Very nice dudes.
Finally found my go-to auto shop in town. We've brought both our cars here and had good experiences. Found them to be honest, straightforward, and very reasonable. No shady business here - they do a good job and are trustworthy
My car had VERY LOUD road noise and one tire that continuously lost air. I made an appointment and even though I had to wait quite a while (one store unfortunately was unable to open that day and they had to take several of that stores appointments)., they explained everything and gave me pricing and did an outstanding job! I was and still am very happy with the service and the people!
Cannot say enough good things about them. Bobby took incredible car of us after Hertz rented us a car with a defective tire. He got us back on the road and saved our vacation. THANK YOU BOBBY/CARX!!!
Walked in, got right in and had an oil (conventional) change and tire rotation. $50 they quoted me a time and hit it right on the money! Thanks Guys!!

I'm very happy with the service that the mechanics did here. I came in asking for new brake pads as it had been awhile since they were replaced. After they examined the car, they told me that the pads were like new and didn't need replacing. They examined the car for free and there was no obligation to purchase anything. I also had new tires put on the car here too with an alignment. All said in done, the service was at a fair price and didn't take long. The guy manning the front desk at the time worked quickly and was very polite. Overall from what I can tell, this is an honest mechanics shop, looking out for their customers, with great service.
FIVE STARS FOR AWESOME SERVICE!!!!! RILEY, helped me when he didnât have to on a SUNDAY evening. Not only did he assist in finding my spare, but he actually repaired my original tire so I could get home to my kids and not worry. He accepted no payment no thank you, just understood sometimes moms need a lil help. Thank you Riley!!!!!! You are outstanding!!!
Great experience! I'm from out of town and I had some air problems in my tires. I went in one day and they gave me air and all my tires. I went back the next day and they took the tire off and checked to make sure that I didn't have a leak. I was leaving the next morning for an 800 mile ride back to Philadelphia Pennsylvania. They didn't charge me anything for those checks and see..Great experience, great place,great people!?
I had a flat tire in my driveway and needed to wait for roadside assistance to change my spare. A staff person (Chad, I believe) answered the phone and assured me they would get to me whenever I was able to get there (which was 4pm on a Monday, a busy day in particular. They repaired my tire, and checked the others, and the entire customer service experience was just flawless, I can't wait to use them for other maintenance or issues.
This location was so helpful! A metal plate on the bottom of my Honda dropped down during my drive to Chicago. They were open on a Saturday afternoon. They got it straightened out and tied it back up for no charge! I was able to drive home safely. Thank you Car-X!
Both times I have been to CarX, has been a great experience. Car issues can be stressful and frustrating but Angel at the front desk has always been helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She does a fantastic job! The men working were both professional, friendly, and took time to explain and show me what the problems were.Recommend
Great, honest service! They have proven to me multiple times that they are an honest and trustworthy place to take my car for repairs. I would recommend them to anybody who needs automotive repairs.
I have used these guys over 5 years servicing at least 5 of my family's cars and never had a problem. Not one and often they find ways to save me money! I understand they have changed hands recently
No complaints. Fast, easy, good quality work, and they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I was 20 minutes late to my scheduled appointment and they still got my taken care of within an hour (oil change + inspection).
Ill give that the work was good but still you lost a star for the fact it took over three hours to do an oil change and tire rotation

These guys are outstanding. They do a great job, price is reasonable, and I never worry about getting ripped off. No I don't work for them, just appreciate guys who do a good job. Been going there since well before they changed ownership and the service level has remained high.
These guys are great!! Came in with a bolt backing out of our lift, and they pulled her in the shop....fixed it,and didn't charge me a dime!!! Would do buisness there any day of the week!!
