Springs & Suspension

There are four major spring designs in use today: coil, leaf, torsion bar, and air. The springs support the entire weight of the vehicle, absorb road shock and maintain proper ride height.

If your vehicle sits unevenly, or lower than normal, or maybe pulls to the left or right, it may be time to visit your local Car-X Tire & Auto.

Is It Time For New Tires?

Car-X recommends getting new tires every 30,000 or 40,000 miles. If your tire tread is at 4/32 of an inch, it is a good time to consider getting new tires. Anything less and the tire is considered “bald,” and legally worn out in most states.
