Scheduled for an oil change and had brake issues come up the day before my appointment. I called and explained, they were able to check out my brakes. Changed the brake fluid and that fixed it, no extra stops or appointments
My break light bulb was nonfunctional, so called to see when I could get an appointment...thinking a few days. They said to bring my car that day and they would squeeze me in! Really only took 10 minutes and done. The bulb had burned out. They are always so friendly!
Phenomenal experience! Parking lot was packed, but they got me in at my appointment time and out in the timeframe as promised. Let me know about a few other issues but didn’t beg for the business. Just a nice casual experience. John’s bay management and team were amazing! Thanks fellas!
Made an appointment for an emissions inspection. Service was prompt and John was great to work with. I discussed with him some handling issues with another family vehicle that my son will soon be driving. He offered to inspect it free of charge and “let’s get him on the road safely”. Great customer service is NOT a thing of the past.
After calling several places, John was the only one that would work me in same day without having to leave my car. Service was excellent and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this business and will be back.
I can’t say enough about how awesome this place is. I needed an emissions test done and had been trying for days to get in somewhere. I called CarX and John was able to get me in same day and provided such great service. They even put air in my tires for me. Top Notch customer service here. I am so glad I called. They really know how to take care of their customers. Highly recommend.
Mike and his team at this location have continually been extremely helpful and efficient every time I have brought either of my cars in. From brakes, tires, windshield wiper motor to shift cable bushing repair. They are always there to help and fix the problem as quickly as possible. I have never called the shop and gotten a negative attitude or a lack to want to help me figure out a problem! I can’t say how much I appreciate having a place to go to where I know I will get an honest answer and somebody who cares!! Thank you guys!!

Got a flat tire today and I drove into Car-X being the nearest shop around. Hardly 45 minutes for store close and I did not have an appointment, but Mike was super accommodative to get my puncture checked. Ended up being this big piece which damaged my tire, and the folks quickly got a new tire put in, balanced and all set before they closed for the day. Awesome service, am so grateful and appreciate the help on such a short notice!

Had an oil change and ask them to check the brakes. Needed brakes all around. Got the quote up front and made the appointment. Manager was polite and took time to talk with us. Price was exactly what was quoted. Friendly employees and a clean waiting room.

Update: I received a call from the Region Manager, Barry Leeson within an hour after posting a review on the CarX website. He was very apologetic and said this was a training issue with a newer manager. He agreed to immediately refund me and said the manager would get additional training to ensure it did not happen again. Was a breath of fresh air to have a company respond so quickly and take the right steps to solve a customer's complaint.They replaced my brakes/rotors and supposedly fixed a power steering leak. I was in a hurry when I picked it up and did not carefully read the invoice. When I did read it later there was a $200+ charge for "lifetime warranty". I did not ask for this and had indicated previously that I was not keeping the car much longer.Called the manager and after indicating that I thought it deceptive not to let me know about the $200 charge, he said that he was been in sales a long time and if he brings it up, the customer usually won't pay for it so he doesn't bring it up. What?!?!?! He also said he could not reverse the charge.He then told me that I needed a new power steering pump and since he knew I was not happy with the other charge he would "deeply discount" the replacement pump for $650. I called Firestone across the street and their price with no discount was $595. I went to Firestone.I will never use Car X anywhere again. Once you lose your customer's trust, it's hard to get back. Hope this post helps others to not be deceived and carefully check their receipt.The power steering still did not work properly. Took it back and
Quick service, fair price and good customer service. No complaints, but I did only get an emissions check, lol.
Always friendly and professional. Wait time is minimal. I always have the routine maintenance done at Car-X and if I need anything else done relating to any car issues I go there first.

We take our truck and car to car-x all the time on highway k in ofallon mo. Ryan, the manager tales great care of both our automobiles. He always wants to make sure you will be safe in your car when it leaves his shop. They are always very helpful in finding what the issues are to fix to keep you safe, thank you Ryan very much for taking care of our family!!!!
Ryan, who answered the phone is pleasant and courteous. In this day and age, it seems like when you call a business, you get passed from one person to the next. Ryan took care of everything I needed. He called back promptly with more info on the product I asked about. He took payment over the phone as I was unavailable to make it in. In my opinion, he is a fantastic frontman for CarX
Had my safety and emissions inspection done at Car-x and they have impeccable service. Didn't have to wait too long. Ryan and everyone was very super friendly. Will definitely continue going to them and I highly reccomend everyone else to do the same!
After getting frustrated trying to accomplish a simple task of emission inspection with huge waits at two competitors I called CarX on a Saturday, talked to a very helpful man, Ryan, who I found out later is new manager at this location. I was set up for a 7:30am (open time) on Monday morning and when I arrived a few minutes early I was happily greeted by manager Ryan holding door open. Very refreshing change from other garages. I was in and out in about 25 minutes, and in that time watched or listened to Ryan and his Trainor attend to several customers in person or on phone. I am a recruiter who is always really aware of those delivering good customer service, and for a business no one wants to deal with( it would be amazing if our cars just never needed repairs) the customer service I observed was stellar.
Great customer service. I made an appointment and they got me in and out in 15 minutes. It was a minor thing, BUT the fact I did not have to wait till they serviced me was really terrific. We have patronized these folks before and the service has always been great.
