Had problems with ordered part but was not notified of the problem in a timely manner. Ended up having to leave my car over night. I was given compensation for the mix up, car was fixed satisfactorily and I was pleased with the bill.
Went today to get an oil change. The price was a great. No appointment required, just wait in line. I waited and was serviced all in under 45 minutes. Lazaro Alba Jr. was amazing! He was fast, efficient, and super kind. I will be coming back again and definitely recommend going.
This was my first time coming here. I wasn't aware that they had a specific area that just takes care of oil changes, so they got me in very quickly. I didn't even have to have an appointment on a Saturday! They also rotated my tires, and the price quote came in lower than expected which is always a plus! The time for them to complete the service was fairly quickly. I had a coupon for a full synthetic oil change for $52.99. That was substantially cheaper than the dealer which was $69. I was very pleased and will definitely be returning in the future for my next oil change. I would highly recommend them!
This Car-X is the GREATEST and it starts with JR! He knows what customer service is all about and make a person feel like they are very important even if you are just getting your oil changed. Yesterday 1/14/2023 I was seeing if I could get my passenger low beam corrected as it was very dim and to also have my drivers side fog lamp replaced. The guys changed my fog lamp and then worked on my low beam issue and they came in and explained that the issue wasn't the alignment but the light projector was broken. They could have tried to tell me everything was great and had me pay $200.00 for the labor, but NO they were honest and fair and then when I tried to pay them for the bulb replacement they told me THANK YOU would be enough. I was also sitting inside the store with a young lady who had a bad tire and they again should her it is all about Customer Service. THANK YOU Car-X and hopefully next time I call the Corporate Offices about this franchise they will truly listen.
This location has always been my favorite! The guys are very knowledgeable, fast and efficient and let you know anything they see that may be an issue with your vehicle even if itâs not the service youâre getting at the time. I highly recommend Car-X Plainfield!

Went to have heat fixed. Found out I had a blown head gasket (very expensive problem). They seemed sympathetic and didnât even charge me for the diagnosis. Very appreciative of the service. Highly recommend.
Car X is full of awesome people. I walked into their shop about 20 minutes before closing and told them I didn't even have the vehicle on site. Micah is an amazing person and didn't want to leave me stranded in a nearby parking lot. He walked to my vehicle carrying all the necessary parts and equipment and got the job done quick, and done well while I paid inside. Honest and genuine people that care about their customers. Cant't recommend Car X enough, especially Micah!
