Brought a Mazda 3 in recently for brakes, and suspension work. In short... This place is buttoned up. They had me bring the car in the morning. They called with an estimate within two hours after dropping the car off. Car was ready by 3:00 that same day. And yes, the shop was very busy with other work. They're well staffed, and have a large number of bays to service cars. The service advisor behind the front desk is personable, yet moves with a sense of urgency. This Car X is what car service should be like, but often isn't anymore. I'll be back.
We first found this shop on the internet because we needed a tire repaired. The customer service was great the guy that repaired our tire made me aware of a bubble in one of the tires as well as suggesting get the brakes check as well. So as IIt turned out we returned to have not only the brakes but the rotors as well, just like last time customer service was great.
This place is awesome! I was in a bind and needed my tire patched up because I had a leak ASAP, and they were courteous, transparent with me about cost, and super quick about getting it done. I am definitely coming back to this place and referring them to others.
Always have a pleasant experience with this business. I was referred by my family about 13 years ago and I've been a repeat customer ever since. As with most repairs, the price can be high, but I value quality over quantity when it comes to safety. I appreciate their timely turn arounds as well. Dennis and John are great to work with it!

Dennis, Joe and Roger are the best. Friendly, informed and went the extra mile for my son's car which had contracted the cursed Chicago disease known as potholitis.They found a tire for his 2012 Nissan Maxima. Then his car failed the emission test which meant he couldn't get the license plate renewed. Again Dennis, Joe and Roger stepped up and finally, due to their expertise the car passed. I highly recommend this repair shop. Most mechanics don't really spend time explaining things but they did-no rush job or fast talking which was great.

There was a horrible rattle coming from under my car. I randomly drove to the CarX at 101st and Western on last Saturday, June 29th. Roger was the intake person who I described my problem to. He advised the time frame to diagnose the problem. Imagine my surprise when I approximately an hour later to find not only had the problem been diagnosed but repaired! My initial thoughts centered around the added expense of correcting my car's problem. Minimal cost to cure (repair)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Roger and Dennis, the stores managers couldn't have been more helpful.

My check engine came on, so I took the car to Car-X for diagnostics. Because the light didn't stay on consistently, the technician was very thorough and ran several tests. However, the tests didn't identify any particular issue. I was advised it was useless to continue diagnostics if the tests weren't yielding any results. The technician suggested I use a gas treatment and use that tank before refilling. I followed their advice and have not experienced any other issues since that time. I am very pleased with the service I received. The employees were very professional, knowledgeable, gave me an honest assessment and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend their services for anyone who wants a quality job at a reasonable price.
The moment I had stepped in the door, I immediately received a sincere greeting that let me know I came to the right place and for me that was reassuring. I came in on a Tuesday morning around 9am and With in 10 minutes my car was in the garage; I was very pleased with that. They gave me a detailed estimate that was written down. I felt they tailored a solution for my 2005 Buick that has over 200,000 miles. Instead of spending $400+, I spent half that. And when I got back in my car, I felt like it was made new, seriously!!!
